Maltodextrin is a mixture of glucose polymers, the most important energy substrate for muscle fiber during exercise. The one used in the production of Maltodextrin, from Vitobest®, is the result of the hydrolysis of corn starch or flour.
This mixture of polymers constitutes a form of complex carbohydrate with a high glycemic index that helps accelerate protein synthesis (thanks to the action of insulin), contributes to delaying fatigue and improving performance, and promotes the recovery of muscle and liver glycogen deposits once physical activity is completed.
